Cleaner exhaust, lower fuel burn and longer engine life.

Plasmoid X retrofits your yacht's exhaust system to remove carbon, NOx and SOx at the source. More oxygen reaches combustion, so the engine uses less fuel and stops building up the soot that wears it down.

The Problem

Current exhaust aftertreatment wasn't built for yachts

SCR and diesel particulate filter systems are bulky, high-maintenance and prone to failure. They add weight, take up engine room space and give the crew another system to service at sea. They also clean up the exhaust after combustion, while Plasmoid X works on the combustion itself.

Fuel, emissions and engine life

⚡

Fuel Efficiency

More complete combustion means the engine burns less fuel for the same work, which cuts running costs.

🌿

Cleaner Exhaust

Carbon, NOx and SOx are dealt with at the source instead of being filtered out afterwards.

⚙

Engine Longevity

With less soot in the combustion process, cylinders and internals see less abrasive wear.

How It Works

Plasmoid X works on the air before it reaches the engine.

The system charges the incoming air to form plasmoids, warms them with heat from the outgoing exhaust and feeds them to the turbo. Inside the engine, they are designed to convert excess carbon and nitrogen into oxygen. You get cleaner exhaust and a more efficient burn without a bulky aftertreatment system.

About the Founder

Ricardo Negri, founder

Ricardo spent 13 years as an engineer on sailing and motor yachts, watching good engines wear out early. He started Plasmoid X to fix that.
